Backbone Theatre and Film have an ongoing residency at Theatre Delicatessen, where they champion the work of first time writers from diverse backgrounds.


Below the Hills written and directed by Kate-Lois Elliott has won numerous awards and been screened in the UK, US and Europe. Koschei the Deathless written by Dan Haycock and directed by Sid Bertier, has been screened comedy festivals in the UK and online.

Past Backbone theatre productions have played at the Roundhouse and The Bush Theatre (The Bistro), Blue Elephant Theatre (Last Orders by Lucy Laing,) and Waterloo East as part of the New British Musicals Festival (Fresco by Olivia Mace.)
